March 20, first Sunday ride of the season! Ride left at 5:30, which actually means 6:15ish. Larry said his timing was off, no Larry, OUR timing is off. It’s not you, it’s not me, it’s us.
Everyone made it to the gas station with out a hitch except me (are you sure you want me to fix your ped?) French mopeds are infamous for having unreliable ignition systems, which is why I switched to Puch parts after rebuilding a couple french coils. THIS time my Frankenstein magneto failed, so I’ll investigate. I’ll post how I made the switch to a Puch coil soon, in case any of you Peugeot lovers are interested but too scared to ask.
The weather was a tad colder than expected, so we kept it local. 11.5 miles traveled zigzagging all over Bushwick/Willamsburg/Greenpoint. Thanks for coming out kids.
